Duties: Supervise and care for the child; maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; bathe, dress and feed the child; prepare and serve nutritious meals; prepare the child for rest periods; organize age-appropriate games, activities and outings; keep records of daily activities and health information; take the child to and from school and appointments as required; and attend to the child's emotional well-being. Requirements: Secondary school graduation certificate; 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience; CPR Certificate; First Aid Certificate; references and vulnerable sector check. Experience caring for children with special needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder, is required.
