General labourer-manufacturing

Work location: 1816 A 25 Ave, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 7K1 Wage: 20.00 hourly/30 to 40 hours per week Nature of employment: Term or contract/ Full-time (Evening, Morning, On call, Weekend, Overtime available) Start Date: As soon as possible Number of vacancies: 1 Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment: Dusty & Noisy Work setting: Factory or plant & Residential/client's home Job Duties: -Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually. -Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment to cut, trim, and shape materials according to production materials. -Grind, sand, polish and smooth rough surfaces, sharp edges, joints, and cut sections. -Travel to construction sites to unload, position, assemble and install finished products. -Check and weigh materials and products. -Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products. -Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers. -Clean machines and immediate work areas, and remove waste materials. -Inspect finished products for visible defects and ensure they meet quality standards. -Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
