The successful candidates will transport goods and materials across various routes while ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely delivery. Employer: BCD TRANSPORT INC. Location: 2002 quebec ave suite 206 Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1W4 Work Location: On the road (Frequent or constant travel required) Position: Long Haul Truck Driver (NOC 73300) Vacancies: 2 Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Wage: $33.60 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Start Date: As soon as possible Work Schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Early Morning, Weekends Requirements: • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience • Valid AZ Class License • Criminal record check required • Ability to travel frequently and work long-haul routes Job Duties: • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials • Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation systems to improve fuel efficiency • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections • Inspect vehicle systems including tires, brakes, lights, and other equipment • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs • Record cargo information, fuel consumption, hours of service, and distance travelled • Communicate with dispatch and relay important updates • Ensure safety and security of cargo, including tarping when required Documentation Knowledge: • Driver logbook Personal Suitability: • Hardworking • Reliable • Safety-conscious • Team player Who Can Apply: You may apply if you are: • A Canadian citizen • A permanent resident of Canada • A temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Please do not apply if you are not legally authorized to work in Canada.
