Purchasing Agent

The Gourmet Lunch Ladies Ltd. is looking for a Purchasing agent to work with our team. Title: Purchasing agent Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time) Wage: CAD 40.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation, extended health and dental benefits after probation Location: 17280 Heather Dr #301, Surrey, BC V3S 0B4 Qualifications: • College diploma or university degree • 2-3 years of related work experience in food service industry Main Duties: • Purchase food ingredients, beverages, packaging, kitchen equipment and supplies for use in the company's catering operations • Assess catering production requirements and develop specifications for food, beverage and supply items to be purchased • Invite quotes, consult with food and beverage suppliers and review pricing proposals • Determine and negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend supplier selection • Establish delivery schedules, monitor incoming shipments and contact suppliers to resolve quality or delivery issues • Negotiate pricing and supply agreements with vendors for seasonal, specialty and bulk catering items How to apply: Please send your resume to hr.gourmetlunchladies@gmail.com
