Server

Marhaba Restaurant located at 90 Gorge Rd W, Victoria, British Columbia V9A 1M1 is looking for a server. The duties of the Server will be as follows: • Greet customers, present menus and provide information on food and beverage offerings • Take food and beverage orders and relay them accurately to kitchen staff • Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and professional manner • Check on customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns • Process payments including cash, credit and debit transactions • Assist with setting up and clearing tables before and after service • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout the shift • Support weekend buffet service including replenishing food stations and assisting customers • Assist with catering setups and service for private and corporate events • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations This is a permanent and full-time position. Wage being offered is $20.50 per hour. Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. SKILLS REQUIRED: • Completion of secondary school is required • Minimum 6 months of experience in a food service or hospitality setting is required • Strong communication and customer service skills This position is open to indigenous persons, vulnerable youth, and newcomers to Canada.
